How to Use the Mini Lessons:

Click below to access Google Slides “workbooks” that can be shared with your students. Each workbook contains mini-lessons and teacher led activities to support student writing.

TEACHERS:

1. Clicking the image will force you to make a copy of the document to add to your Google Drive.

2. Read through and familiarize yourself with the content as well as any applications utilized (Jamboard, YouTube Links, Nearpod lessons).

3. You may choose to share a copy of the workbook with each student to record their thinking OR you may choose to share it as as a “view only” file on their learning platform OR you may download the slides as a PDF file to share with your students.

Share a Copy:

• Open the document and ensure that your sharing permissions are set to “anyone with the link”.

• Click on the web address in the search box and look near the end of the link. Replace the word “edit” with the word “copy” in the link.

• Copy and paste this new “copy link” to share with your students in their learning platform.

View Only Share:

• Open the document and ensure that your sharing permissions are set to “anyone with the link can view” (not edit).

• Click “copy link” and share this link with your students in their learning platform.
